Lunch Seminar - Managing psychosocial risks in the workplace and achieving Respect@Work

ALERA (Australian Labour & Employment  Relations Association ) together with IRSQ (Industrial Relations Society of Queensland) are delighted to invite you to our first joint online lunch seminar!

When: 23 August 2023

Time: 12:30 – 1:30pm

Where: Online Zoom seminar

In December 2022, the Australian Federal Government took a significant step towards promoting safe and respectful workplaces by implementing the key recommendation of the Australian Human Rights Commission's 2020 Respect@Work report. This legislation established a positive duty on employers to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace, accompanied by empowering the AHRC with new enforcement powers.

We are excited to have Tamara Lutvey, Partner at Ashurst, and Abbey Kendall, Director at The Working Women's Centre (South Australia), as our esteemed guest speakers.

Join us for this informative seminar where our expert presenters will explore the changes brought about by the Respect@Work legislation and its practical implications. We will delve into various aspects related to managing psychosocial risks in the workplace.

Register now here, and secure your spot for this insightful seminar!

This online seminar is complimentary to members of IRSV by entering the code: FreeMember when registering. A zoom link will be sent to attendees prior to the seminar.
