The Industrial Relations Society of Victoria is the voice of the Victorian industrial relations (IR) profession.Established in 1963, the Industrial Relations Society of Victoria is an organisation committed to fostering discussion, research and education in the fields of industrial and employment relations and related areas of interest. The Society's substantial membership is drawn from the five key sections of the field of industrial relations: trade unions, employers, government, academic institutions and the legal profession. Any person who has or would like to develop an interest in the field of industrial relations may apply for membership. To that end, a special subscription rate applies for full-time students and retired members. The Society is a constituent society of the Australian Labour and Employment Relations Association (ALERA) with kindred societies in States and Territories across Australia. ALERA is, in turn, a constituent member of the International Labour and Employment Relations Association (ILERA). |
