Our friends at the Industrial Relations Society of New South Wales have kindly extended an invitation to members of the IRSV to register for its ‘mini conference’ on Friday 25 September from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
They will be using a more sophisticated technology than Zoom which should make the whole experience of a higher quality. Registered participants will be given a dedicated URL to allow them to listen to the speakers and take part in the proceedings.
Registration will be FREE for IRSV members. Non-members can register for $100 (plus GST).
The topics to be covered have yet to be finalised but will include the impact of Covid-19 (of course), recent developments in general protections, and enterprise bargaining (hopefully with a good news story for a change)
The speakers that have confirmed their participation include:
- Penny Thew, Barrister and NCAT member
- Nicole Gower, Vice President, People and Services, Macquarie University
- Tess Deegan, Employment and Law Reform Solicitor, Kingsford Legal Centre
- Alana Matheson, Associate Director, People and Change, KPMG Australia
